Position Overview:

Prism is seeking a Partner Account Manager to join its growing team. Partnerships are at the heart of Prism’s growth strategy. Prism has signed an impressive number—and quality—of partnerships over the last two years, with leading data aggregators, credit bureaus, decision engines and others that provide critical distribution and co-selling opportunities. As the company’s first Partner Account Manager, you will be a critical member of the revenue team, responsible for further activating Prism’s existing partnerships and driving revenue. Plus, you will play a key role in identifying, cultivating, and closing new partnerships.

This role reports to the VP, Partnerships.  

What you’ll do: 

  • Relationship management: Establish and nurture productive relationships with existing and prospective partners that yield results for each party; for new relationships, develop and implement the go-to-market framework.
  • Partnership activation: Train and activate partners’ sales and success teams; develop collateral to support partnerships in conjunction with their product marketing teams and Prism colleagues; serve as part of the partners’ sales and customer success organizations.
  • Strategy development and outcome measurement: Measure outcomes, document market data, and recommend changes to strategies based on data-driven insights. 
  • Opportunity identification: Proactively research and identify potential new partners.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with other Prism team members to effectively execute our partnership strategies.

Qualifications: 

  • 6+ years account management experience in a dynamic, high-growth environment, especially in nascent markets and/or bespoke partnership/sales engagements.
  • Superb relationship management skills and commercial acumen. Capable of concurrently managing multiple partnerships and projects. 
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communicator and internal relationship builder, who can collaborate cross-functionally (e.g., with our sales, product and technical teams) on complex topics.
  • An effective business generalist with a strategic mindset to build a holistic partner program in addition to individual partner relationships. 
  • Proven success in driving sales activity, pipeline development, and meeting quotas.
  • Ability to understand and explain technology and data flows.
  • Credit risk, financial services and previous B2B technology experience are a strong plus.
  • Willingness to travel as required for partner meetings and industry events.
  • A self-starter with a track record of success working with distributed teams. 

Other Information:

Target base salary for this role is between $125,000 and $170,000 per year. Prism also offers additional equity-based compensation. Potential commission-based or variable compensation is dependent on the role. Prism provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location.
