Position Overview:

Prism is in an exciting period of growth, having recently announced industry-first partnerships with companies like Plaid and Equifax, and managed several major client launches. To build on this success, we are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our growing team and act as a key driver of our direct sales efforts. 

In this role, you will be responsible for selling Prism’s cash flow underwriting solutions to a variety of customers, focusing on non-bank lenders, from start to finish. You will leverage your deep industry knowledge and relationships (specifically around credit risk and products), consultative selling skills, and understanding of open banking concepts to position our solutions as a game-changer in the credit risk management landscape, particularly as open banking takes hold in the United States.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead engagement with and management of non-bank Prism prospects, from prospecting through contract signing.
  • In addition to a named account book of business, build a strong sales pipeline and effectively manage prospects through the sales cycle to achieve designated revenue goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, providing expert insight and guidance on best practices in the context of cash flow underwriting, open banking, and this evolving landscape.
  • Deeply understand your prospects’ key drivers of business needs, future expansion potential, buying timelines, and budget. Identify and communicate potential hurdles quickly.
  • Track and report sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, revenue forecasts, and achievement against targets, timely and accurately in CRM system.
  • Partner internally to align resources at the right stages of the sales process, ensuring the appropriate expertise is brought in to close deals effectively.
  • Foster open communication with colleagues to surface insights on market trends, emerging themes, and potential risks.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience (7-10 years) in full cycle B2B sales, with a background in selling  financial services software, credit scoring, and/or risk underwriting solutions to financial institutions and other lenders.
  • Established network of contacts within the financial services sector, including senior decision-makers in credit risk and product roles.
  • Familiarity with open banking concepts, trends, and providers, particularly as they pertain to the U.S. market.
  • Proven track record of setting, meeting, and exceeding sales targets, with a strong focus on net-new revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both highly technical stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with the ability to understand client challenges, craft innovative solutions, build trust, and influence key stakeholders.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with a strong interest in joining an early-stage sales organization and helping to shape its infrastructure, processes, and more. 
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Proficient in CRM software (preferably HubSpot) and other sales productivity tools.

Other Information:

Target base salary for this role is between  $130,000 and $170,000 per year. Prism also offers additional equity-based compensation. Potential commission-based or variable compensation is dependent on the role. Prism provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location.
